sometimes you just need to talk to SOMEONE who gets it
peer support services i offer
peer support Sessions
sessions for you to receive general support that doesn’t feel urgent in nature.
check-in Sessions
short follow-up sessions for you to receive general support that doesn’t feel urgent in nature.
last minute, right in it sessions
longer sessions for you to receive real-time care and support when you are “right in it”
i never want lack of resources to be a barrier to care. i am on disability, and know what it feels like to not be able to access the support i need. if you would like to book a session but can’t afford my rates, please reach out to me on the contact page and we will work something out.
are you feeling financially resourced? pay it forward!
in the spirit of care and community, you are welcome to pay a little extra for your sessions so i can afford to offer my services for free for those who can’t access the care they need.

what to expect in our sessions
my support style is intuitive, grounded in presence, kindness, authenticity, warmth and compassion.
my approach is one of curiosity. i am honest and wholehearted gently encouraging you towards growth and healing.
i listen deeply, and can be your mirror, offering my observations for self-reflection.
i draw from my living experiences of navigating a chronic illness and premenstrual disorder.
what my peers say
“it feels so empowering to work with abbie. with similar lived experiences and exceptional listening skills, she makes me feel seen, heard and understood. she creates a completely judgement-free space for me to share my biggest vulnerabilities.
i came away from one session with a practical tool for anxious thoughts and unhelpful patterns.
abbie is helping me to become the self-respecting person that i want to be, and to create the life that i want to live. i cannot recommend her highly enough.”
-tessa, new zealand
“an incredible listener is a rare thing. listening is a skill we all think we have, and yet, very few of us act as a sounding board in the way abbie does.
she is hugely empathetic, attentive to the subtleties of what you're saying and highly knowledgeable on the theory, and practice of pmdd. if you want someone who just 'gets it' when it comes to pmdd, abbie is that person.”
-elsa, england
“when i reached out to abbie i was really struggling and i needed human contact with someone who i could feel safe with and supported by.
abbie really listens and has a lot of lived experience to draw upon. she was kind and respectful when I was finding it hard to talk coherently and I did not feel pressured to have to try to explain in detail what was going on other than I felt unsafe and needed help.
abbie stayed with me, suggesting and showing me ways to regulate, and any initial worries soon vanished. i felt very safe with her.”
