discover the profound difference of talking to someone with lived experience
i look forward to walking alongside you on your healing journey towards strength, resilience and wellness.
hi, my name is Abbie! i offer peer support services to folks with invisible disabilities…
just like me!
so what is peer support?
“peer support is grounded in hope and empowerment and involves emotional and practical support between people who share a common experience.
it is rooted in a philosophy and practice that minimizes power imbalances, and fosters equal and empathetic relationships. peer support is focused on health and recovery rather than illness and disability”

my lived experience:
i have lived with chronic fatigue syndrome (cfs) and premenstrual dysphoric disorder (pmdd) for the whole of my adult life. i was only officially diagnosed with cfs in january of 2023 and pmdd in may of 2024.
until then i had been misdiagnosed with depression, anxiety, and adrenal fatigue and had struggled with treatment resistant physical and mental health issues.
